This August (from 26th to 31st of August), the world's surfing world tour will visit the Ribeira de Ilhas beach, ready for action will be some of the worlds best surfers.
Located around 3.5 kilometres from Ericeira and right by the river mouth that provides its name, Ribeira d’ Ilhas Beach. It is considered to be one of the best in Europe for both surfing and bodyboarding. Since 1985, it has annually hosted one of the World surfing championship events.
Some of the world's finest surfers will be present at the Ribeira de Ilhas beach, in Ericeira. This years event has been awarded six stars the highest for any WQS event.
